Extra Info: Fantastic album in great collectible condition !! Killer bossa jazz style, and some great funky parts !!

originally released in 1968; Design was a subsidiary of the budget label Pickwick [who Lou Reed worked for prior to forming The Velvet Undergound], who churned out versions of popular hits, using anonymous session players - here they tackle the classic camp sci-fi romp starring Jane Fonda, alongside versions of 'Sabre Dance' and 'Hall Of The Mountain King'. Further research shows that The Youg lovers are Canadian who made this LP with Hit songs of the wild movie 'Barbarella' and other way out themes. bossa jazz style, and some great funky parts. Killer track is 'the black queen's beads'.

Killer original-press low-budget surf LP on the Design label, with an even better cover featuring a Jane Fonda look-alike (sort of) ....
